Chocolate is a "love" even if the properties could come on their own cultural understanding. We believe it is sexual, so that it becomes one. I mean, it tastes good. And then there's the smooth melting sensation on the tongue, because the melting point of chocolate is just below human body temperature. It 'a way to promote yourself, do not you think? But then we should take into account the chemical composition of chocolate. What is the stuff? And from this idea, it is a first sexual come?
According to sources, the Aztecs, the first to cultivate cacao, which is celebrated aphrodisiac chocolate. Who ate large amounts of food cooked with chocolate during the harvest period, and then participate in outrageous orgies during the holidays. But there are also reports that men in Aztec society chocolate forbid women cook the food, due to its power as an aphrodisiac.
Although both of these reports could be the facts, I'm not sure of them. Because it seems to me that if men deny women to eat chocolate, because they have a wild orgies during harvest? Something does not come back. Would apparently be to force their women! But it is just my humble opinion of this writer. Despite this, the Aztecs thought chocolate was the erotic power.
History is replete with examples of people who were convinced of the powers chocolate. The courtesan of the French king Louis XV, Madame du Barry, apparently made sure that her lovers drank a cup of chocolate before they had access to her boudoir. And Casanova, the famous Casanova drank chocolate daily at Cafe Florian in Venice, proclaiming the drink to get better, it's more stimulating than champagne. And these are just a few.
So of course, people throughout history have considered the chocolate has aphrodisiac properties. But what gives these properties? Chemicals! Chocolate contains phenylethylamine, an amino acid that occurs naturally. Some claim that phenylethylamine can cure a hangover, but it is certainly related to love. Your body, apparently, it secretes when you hit your head on the heels. And this is not the only brain chemical that chocolate contains. He also levels of dopamine and serotonin, two painkillers and put you in a better mood. Serotonin, even cause you to have a sensation of pleasure similar to the one you get when you stand in the sun.
Its no surprise that chocolate is so popular! Tasty, inspiring, stimulating, what could you ask? Oh, aphrodisiacs? Well, none of the sources I could find was a concrete opinion on whether or not chocolate was really an aphrodisiac. But, honestly, who cares? With everything else going for it, chocolate is an aphrodisiac you want to eat? Now if you'll excuse me, I have some exquisite dark chocolate snacks.
