Happiness is something that so many people strive each day, yet many times is to dodge them. Often, he feels that happiness is theirs, if only their situation was different. Have you ever felt this way?
So often we get caught, what I call the "if only". If only my husband was good to me. If only I had a better job. If only the boys were grown and out of the house. The list can go on and on.
We can all waste our precious time dreaming, "if only". So many people fall into this trap and end up the most miserable in their lives.
The problem is they are trying to become the best of luck in some way. Like it's something that can be possessed. When happiness does not happen to come, seems to disappear, disappears quickly.
People mistakenly think that happiness is a feeling like someone passing fancy. I'm here to tell you that happiness is not a feeling, may be a way of life. Happiness can be yours on a daily basis, if you just follow some basic principles.
First, you need to live NOW. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised to us, so you have to be present in the moment.
Secondly, you must control your thoughts and the thoughts that go through your mind. Happiness can be called a state of mind and the way of happiness brings to your mind in its normal state.
If I live in Texas and want to be in California, I have to change state. For me in this state that I have to make some changes. In this analogy, we decided to take the train. The train is going in the right direction and arrived at our destination. We need to know how to train, or we get where we do not want to be.
Think of that train, as his thoughts. It is true that his train of thought. If you do not want to stay in Texas, you get the right train. If you leave all lines of thought in your mind, then you will be taken here and there and never reach the desired destination.
The question is how we get the right train?
Ticket to board the train right is called recognition. Gratitude is an attitude and we all we have to be grateful instead of emphasizing what our problems, we realize that it can be removed in the state we want to be in.
There is a path to happiness and that road is gratitude.
